Specific Holidays that warrant a production of JFK: Light the World

A single or multi performance series of productions of the play would be appropriate on the following days

President’s Day: JFK was our 35th president

Memorial Day (honoring those who died in battle): While serving as President and Commander in Chief of all U.S. forces including those in Vietnam and battling communism daily in the Cold War, JFK was struck down by assassins.

July the Fourth (honoring the date we declared our independence): Honoring JFK on this day could remind audiences of his courageous stands against military advisors, part leaders, etc. He was a politician and a member of the Democrat party, but his most important decisions were made independently.

Veterans’ Day (honoring all who served in the U.S. military, both living and deceased): JFK served in the U.S. Navy in WWII, he was also Commander in Chief during his presidency
